Significant\u00a0changes\u00a0are\u00a0expected\u00a0to\u00a0take\u00a0effect\u00a0from\u00a0April\u00a02024\u00a0regarding\u00a0the\u00a0conditions\u00a0for\u00a0VIP Cash Grant\u00a0<\/strong>(Investment Incentive in Hungary),\u00a0as\u00a0outlined\u00a0in\u00a0the\u00a0draft\u00a0legislation. The\u00a0aim\u00a0of\u00a0these\u00a0modifications\u00a0is\u00a0to\u00a0encourage\u00a0investments\u00a0with\u00a0higher\u00a0added\u00a0value,\u00a0support\u00a0economic\u00a0growth, and\u00a0promote\u00a0the\u00a0development\u00a0of\u00a0disadvantaged\u00a0regions.\u00a0These\u00a0changes\u00a0will\u00a0impact\u00a0several\u00a0areas,\u00a0including\u00a0the\u00a0minimum\u00a0required\u00a0investment\u00a0amount,\u00a0revenue\u00a0and\u00a0wage\u00a0commitments, and\u00a0new\u00a0mandatory\u00a0obligations.\u00a0<\/p>

Investment Size<\/strong> <\/td>10 million euros in cities such as Gy\u0151r, Sz\u00e9kesfeh\u00e9rv\u00e1r, Tatab\u00e1nya, Szeksz\u00e1rd, Kecskem\u00e9t, Szombathely, Veszpr\u00e9m, Zalaegerszeg, Debrecen, Szeged, and Eger. 5 million euros in cities like Salg\u00f3tarj\u00e1n, Miskolc, Ny\u00edregyh\u00e1za, B\u00e9k\u00e9scsaba, P\u00e9cs, Kaposv\u00e1r, Szolnok, and other district seat towns. 3 million euros in other towns. <\/td><\/tr>
Revenue Commitment<\/strong> <\/td>For new businesses: min. 3 million euros\/year (9 million euros over 3 years). For existing businesses: min. 30% increase compared to the baseline period for each year of the maintenance period, in combination with the wage commitment. <\/td><\/tr>
