The program\u00a0aims\u00a0to\u00a0promote\u00a0the\u00a0growth\u00a0of\u00a0companies,\u00a0support\u00a0employment\u00a0expansion, and\u00a0encourage\u00a0research\u00a0and\u00a0development.\u00a0<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Who&nbsp;can&nbsp;apply?<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2><p>The\u00a0new\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ibsh.hu\/en\/ekd-support-for-large-investments\/\">VIP Cash Grant<\/a>, the Investment Incentive\u00a0in Hungary\u00a0is\u00a0available\u00a0for\u00a0<strong>small\u00a0and\u00a0medium-sized\u00a0enterprises\u00a0(SMEs)<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>large\u00a0enterprises<\/strong>,\u00a0provided\u00a0the\u00a0investment\u00a0is\u00a0made\u00a0in\u00a0one\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0following\u00a0counties:\u00a0\u00a0<strong>Szabolcs-Szatm\u00e1r-Bereg, Heves, N\u00f3gr\u00e1d, Borsod-Aba\u00faj-Zempl\u00e9n, B\u00e1cs-Kiskun, B\u00e9k\u00e9s, Baranya, Tolna, Zala, and Somogy.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p><p>Applicants&nbsp;must&nbsp;implement&nbsp;an&nbsp;investment&nbsp;worth&nbsp;at&nbsp;least&nbsp;<strong>2&nbsp;million&nbsp;euros<\/strong>, and must&nbsp;commit&nbsp;to&nbsp;increasing&nbsp;their&nbsp;revenue&nbsp;and&nbsp;wage&nbsp;costs&nbsp;during&nbsp;the&nbsp;maintenance&nbsp;period.&nbsp;<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What&nbsp;can&nbsp;the&nbsp;new&nbsp;VIP Cash Grant&nbsp;be&nbsp;used&nbsp;for?<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2><p>\u2714&nbsp;<strong>Real&nbsp;Estate&nbsp;Development<\/strong>:&nbsp;Land&nbsp;acquisition,&nbsp;property&nbsp;purchase,&nbsp;construction&nbsp;of&nbsp;manufacturing&nbsp;and&nbsp;warehouse&nbsp;halls,&nbsp;renovation, and&nbsp;expansion&nbsp;of&nbsp;existing&nbsp;buildings.&nbsp;<br>\u2714&nbsp;<strong>Equipment&nbsp;and&nbsp;Machinery&nbsp;Acquisition<\/strong>:&nbsp;Machines&nbsp;and&nbsp;equipment&nbsp;necessary&nbsp;for&nbsp;production&nbsp;and&nbsp;operation.&nbsp;<br>\u2714&nbsp;<strong>Intangible&nbsp;Assets<\/strong>:&nbsp;Acquisition&nbsp;of&nbsp;intellectual&nbsp;property,&nbsp;licenses, and know-how.&nbsp;<br>\u2714&nbsp;<strong>Renewable&nbsp;Energy&nbsp;Sources<\/strong>:&nbsp;Investments&nbsp;supporting&nbsp;sustainable&nbsp;energy.&nbsp;<br>\u2714&nbsp;<strong>On-Site&nbsp;Machinery<\/strong>:&nbsp;Financing&nbsp;of&nbsp;special&nbsp;equipment&nbsp;necessary&nbsp;for&nbsp;operations.&nbsp;<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How&nbsp;much&nbsp;VIP Cash Grant&nbsp;is&nbsp;available?<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2><p><strong>Up&nbsp;to&nbsp;50%&nbsp;non-repayable&nbsp;grant<\/strong>,&nbsp;based&nbsp;on&nbsp;individual&nbsp;evaluation,&nbsp;depending&nbsp;on&nbsp;the&nbsp;location&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;investment&nbsp;and&nbsp;the&nbsp;company\u2019s&nbsp;size.&nbsp;<br><strong>25%&nbsp;advance<\/strong>&nbsp;is&nbsp;available&nbsp;for&nbsp;SMEs.&nbsp;<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Mandatory&nbsp;Commitments&nbsp;for&nbsp;VIP&nbsp;Cash&nbsp;Grant&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2><p>Applicants&nbsp;must&nbsp;guarantee&nbsp;that,&nbsp;during&nbsp;the&nbsp;maintenance&nbsp;period,&nbsp;they&nbsp;will:&nbsp;<strong>Increase&nbsp;their&nbsp;wage&nbsp;mass&nbsp;by&nbsp;at&nbsp;least&nbsp;5&nbsp;million&nbsp;euros<\/strong>&nbsp;AND&nbsp;<br><strong>Increase&nbsp;their&nbsp;revenue&nbsp;by&nbsp;at&nbsp;least&nbsp;25&nbsp;million&nbsp;euros.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p><p>The&nbsp;maintenance&nbsp;period&nbsp;must be&nbsp;at&nbsp;least&nbsp;5&nbsp;years&nbsp;for&nbsp;large&nbsp;enterprises&nbsp;and&nbsp;at&nbsp;least&nbsp;3&nbsp;years&nbsp;for&nbsp;SMEs,&nbsp;but&nbsp;companies&nbsp;may&nbsp;choose&nbsp;to&nbsp;commit&nbsp;to&nbsp;a&nbsp;longer&nbsp;period&nbsp;to&nbsp;achieve&nbsp;the&nbsp;goals.&nbsp;<\/p><p class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-02460052 gb-headline-text\"><strong>Optional&nbsp;Commitments&nbsp;(At&nbsp;least&nbsp;one&nbsp;must be&nbsp;chosen)<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p><p>To&nbsp;be&nbsp;eligible&nbsp;for&nbsp;the&nbsp;support,&nbsp;companies&nbsp;must&nbsp;fulfill&nbsp;at&nbsp;least&nbsp;one&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;following&nbsp;commitments:&nbsp;<\/p><p><strong>Increase&nbsp;in&nbsp;Wage&nbsp;Mass<\/strong>: The ratio of&nbsp;wage&nbsp;mass&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;average&nbsp;statistical&nbsp;headcount&nbsp;during&nbsp;the&nbsp;maintenance&nbsp;period&nbsp;must&nbsp;exceed&nbsp;the&nbsp;business&nbsp;year\u2019s&nbsp;value&nbsp;before&nbsp;the&nbsp;investment&nbsp;by&nbsp;at&nbsp;least&nbsp;30%. (Condition:&nbsp;At&nbsp;least&nbsp;50&nbsp;employees&nbsp;when&nbsp;submitting&nbsp;the&nbsp;application.)&nbsp;<br><strong>Increase&nbsp;in&nbsp;Revenue<\/strong>: The ratio of&nbsp;revenue&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;average&nbsp;statistical&nbsp;headcount&nbsp;during&nbsp;the&nbsp;maintenance&nbsp;period&nbsp;must&nbsp;increase&nbsp;by&nbsp;at&nbsp;least&nbsp;30%&nbsp;compared&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;previous&nbsp;business&nbsp;year. (Condition:&nbsp;At&nbsp;least&nbsp;50&nbsp;employees&nbsp;when&nbsp;submitting&nbsp;the&nbsp;application.)&nbsp;<br><strong>Job&nbsp;Creation<\/strong>: The&nbsp;company&nbsp;must&nbsp;create&nbsp;at&nbsp;least&nbsp;25&nbsp;new&nbsp;jobs&nbsp;during&nbsp;the&nbsp;maintenance&nbsp;period.
