{"id":3491,"date":"2024-10-28T10:54:00","date_gmt":"2024-10-28T09:54:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ibsh.hu\/?p=3491"},"modified":"2026-04-14T13:30:04","modified_gmt":"2026-04-14T11:30:04","slug":"rules-for-training-subsidy-in-hungary","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ibsh.hu\/en\/rules-for-training-subsidy-in-hungary\/","title":{"rendered":"Rules\u00a0for\u00a0Internal\u00a0and\u00a0External\u00a0Corporate\u00a0Training\u00a0When\u00a0Applying\u00a0for\u00a0Training\u00a0Subsidy in Hungary"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The European Union and Hungary\u00a0aim\u00a0to\u00a0fund businesses in\u00a0training\u00a0their\u00a0employees,\u00a0thereby\u00a0contributing\u00a0to\u00a0improved\u00a0productivity\u00a0and\u00a0the\u00a0development\u00a0of\u00a0employees&#8217;\u00a0competencies throughout training subsidy in Hungary.\u00a0However,\u00a0for\u00a0corporate\u00a0training\u00a0to\u00a0qualify\u00a0for\u00a0state\u00a0subsidies,\u00a0they\u00a0must\u00a0meet\u00a0general\u00a0conditions,\u00a0which\u00a0we\u00a0will\u00a0go\u00a0through\u00a0below.\u00a0<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Internal&nbsp;Corporate&nbsp;Training&nbsp;Eligible&nbsp;for&nbsp;Training&nbsp;Subsidy<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2><p>According&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;<strong>Adult&nbsp;Education&nbsp;Act<\/strong>,&nbsp;internal&nbsp;training&nbsp;refers&nbsp;to&nbsp;any&nbsp;education&nbsp;and&nbsp;training&nbsp;organized&nbsp;by&nbsp;the&nbsp;employer&nbsp;for&nbsp;the&nbsp;employees&nbsp;of&nbsp;its&nbsp;own&nbsp;company, partner&nbsp;or&nbsp;affiliate&nbsp;company,&nbsp;or&nbsp;even&nbsp;its&nbsp;suppliers,&nbsp;provided&nbsp;it&nbsp;is&nbsp;not&nbsp;conducted&nbsp;as&nbsp;part of a&nbsp;commercial&nbsp;business&nbsp;activity&nbsp;and&nbsp;exceeds&nbsp;a&nbsp;total&nbsp;duration&nbsp;of 6&nbsp;hours.&nbsp;If&nbsp;the&nbsp;employer&nbsp;hires&nbsp;workers&nbsp;through&nbsp;temporary&nbsp;employment&nbsp;agencies&nbsp;and&nbsp;provides&nbsp;training&nbsp;for&nbsp;them&nbsp;that&nbsp;meets&nbsp;the&nbsp;above&nbsp;conditions,&nbsp;it&nbsp;is&nbsp;also&nbsp;considered&nbsp;internal&nbsp;training.&nbsp;<\/p><p>However,&nbsp;according&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;<strong>Adult&nbsp;Education&nbsp;Act<\/strong>,&nbsp;only&nbsp;a&nbsp;company&nbsp;that&nbsp;has&nbsp;registered&nbsp;its&nbsp;adult&nbsp;education&nbsp;activity&nbsp;in&nbsp;advance&nbsp;is&nbsp;allowed&nbsp;to&nbsp;organize&nbsp;internal&nbsp;training. The&nbsp;registration&nbsp;can&nbsp;be&nbsp;made&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;<strong>Adult&nbsp;Education Data&nbsp;Reporting&nbsp;System<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p><p>In&nbsp;accordance&nbsp;with&nbsp;the&nbsp;above&nbsp;conditions,&nbsp;the&nbsp;employer&nbsp;can&nbsp;organize&nbsp;any&nbsp;training&nbsp;aimed&nbsp;at&nbsp;developing&nbsp;competencies&nbsp;or&nbsp;professional&nbsp;knowledge&nbsp;for&nbsp;its&nbsp;employees,&nbsp;where&nbsp;the&nbsp;training&nbsp;can&nbsp;be&nbsp;conducted&nbsp;by&nbsp;the&nbsp;employer&#8217;s&nbsp;own&nbsp;staff,&nbsp;employees&nbsp;of partner&nbsp;or&nbsp;affiliate&nbsp;companies,&nbsp;or&nbsp;even&nbsp;an&nbsp;external&nbsp;partner (instructor&nbsp;without&nbsp;an&nbsp;adult&nbsp;education&nbsp;permit).
