Sándor Demján Program: 1+1 SME Investment Stimulus Support
Eligible Activities
The Sándor Demján Program: SME 1+1 investment stimulus support can be applied for the following investments:
- Purchase of new equipment resulting in technological development, up to at least 40% of the total project cost
- Corporate information and communication technology development (equipment, software, and services), up to a maximum of 50% of the total project cost.
- Acquisition of necessary intangible assets (e.g., manufacturing licenses, manufacturing know-how related to the acquisition of equipment), up to a maximum of 10% of the total project cost
- Use of technologies utilizing renewable energy sources (excluding solar panels and solar panel systems), up to a maximum of 50% of the total project cost.
- Purchase of small and large commercial vehicles, up to a value limit of HUF 25 million + VAT
- Consultancy costs (marketing, strategy, etc.) up to a maximum of 5% of the total project cost.
Form and Extent of Subsidy
The amount of the SME 1+1 investment stimulus grant depends on the cost elements of the project and the location of the investment. The grant may cover up to 50% of eligible costs.
The amount of the SME 1+1 investment stimulus grant: maximum HUF 200 million, non-repayable grant, which can be drawn down as an advance payment of up to 100%.

The following costs are eligible for reimbursement under the SME 1+1 investment stimulus grant:
Purchase of new tools and machines resulting in technological development
Corporate information and communications technology (ICT) developments: procurement of hardware, software, and services
Use of technologies utilizing renewable energy sources (solar collectors, heat pumps, briquettes, pellets, wood chips, wood gasification boiler systems)
Purchase of small and large commercial vehicles (except for vehicles classified as M and L categories).
MAINTENANCE PERIOD
A condition of the SME 1+1 Investment Stimulus Grant is that the investor maintains the investment for three years after its implementation.
Applying for multiple grants at the same time
The support requested through the Sándor Demján program can be combined with interest-subsidized loans or tax breaks, thus offering the possibility of reducing corporate tax liabilities in addition to cash support.
