Within the framework of the new funding program in Hungary up to HUF 5 billion in funding is available for food industry developments.
The draft call for the development of processing plants has been published, under which food industry companies may apply for up to HUF 5 billion.
This funding will be available across the entire territory of Hungary for both SMEs and large enterprises.
Funding intensity
- Manufacturing technology: max. 50% and up to HUF 1 billion
- Renewable energy production: max. 70% and up to HUF 1 billion
- Advance payment: max. 25%
Development of processing plants
According to the plans, funding can be used for the following activities:
- Development of food processing plants
- Development of wineries
- Development of feed production facilities
- Processing related to honey packaging, wool processing, hemp processing, manure processing, and other by-products connected to activities classified under TEÁOR 10 or 11
- Activities aimed at reducing energy consumption
- Application of technologies utilizing renewable energy sources
Eligible costs
- Purchase of real estate
- Site preparation
- Construction, development, and modernization of buildings and facilities
- Procurement of new machinery and equipment, acquisition of technologies, modernization of existing machinery and equipment
- Installation of renewable energy sources
- Freight transport vehicles
- Intangible assets, project preparation, and other general costs
