At the request of the Győr-Moson-Sopron County Chamber of Commerce and Industry, IBSH held an online professional webinar on December 15, 2025, entitled Jedlik Ányos Energy Program, in professional cooperation with 8G Energy Zrt. The aim of the webinar was to provide businesses with comprehensive information on the support opportunities available for energy storage and renewable energy developments, as well as the technical and financial requirements for projects.

The aim of the Jedlik Ányos Energy Program is to provide support to businesses for the development of energy storage systems and the development of related renewable energy production capacities, promoting energy independence and long-term cost reduction. Under the program, support ranging from HUF 10 million to HUF 1 billion can be requested, with the intensity of support depending on the size of the company:
- small businesses: 50%,
- medium-sized companies: 40%,
- large companies: 30%.
A mandatory element of the developments is the installation of an energy storage system, to which additional activities may be linked. Among other things, the following are eligible for support:
- installation of renewable energy production systems (up to 33% of the project's eligible costs)
- construction and network works,
- necessary documentation, studies, software,
- project management and preparatory activities.
The deadline for project implementation is December 31, 2028.
Eligible applicants and submission
Any company based in Hungary with at least one completed financial year is eligible to apply. Half of the total budget of HUF 50 billion has been earmarked specifically for SMEs.
Submission period:
January 12, 2026, 10:00 a.m. – February 15, 2026, 4:00 p.m.
In the event of exhaustion of funds, the call for proposals may be suspended within 24 hours.
By taking advantage of the opportunities offered by the Jedlik Ányos Energy Program, numerous businesses can take a step forward toward energy independence.
The objectives of the webinar were for participants to:
- get a comprehensive picture of the professional and financial conditions of the Jedlik program,
- understand how different investment models can be aligned with support frameworks,
- receive practical guidance on preparing for energy storage and renewable energy developments,
- assess which support schemes may be relevant to their own business.
