At the JVSZ – Country Ride event on 14 November 2025 in Szolnok, our Managing Director, Dr. Zsombor Tóth, represented IBSH as a panelist in the professional roundtable discussion titled “Development Funding and Efficiency Enhancement.”
The session focused on the investment incentives and development opportunities that will play a critical role in the growth and planned investments of Hungarian Small and Medium-sized Enterprises over the coming years.
The conversation addressed several key questions, including:
- What is the current level of investment appetite among Hungarian Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, and which factors influence the launch of new development projects?
- Which types of support schemes do Small and Medium-sized Enterprises need most – including investment grants, R&D grants, and equipment-acquisition programmes?
- Which development directions will shape the next 1–3 years, with special emphasis on technological innovation and energy-efficiency investments?
- What can companies expect from direct EU funding schemes, and how should they approach entering these opportunities?
- What were some of the most interesting Small and Medium-sized Enterprise development projects in recent years, and what lessons can be drawn from them?
Dr. Tóth Zsombor discussed these issues alongside recognised experts such as
Orsolya Kurucz (ATS Advisory), Bernadett Petri (KTM / MFOI), and Dr. Gábor Vicze (Innomine).
The session was moderated by Balázs Dobos (Századvég).
Despite the diverse perspectives, participants agreed that well-chosen development directions and the effective use of available investment incentives create substantial long-term competitive advantage. Companies that build their strategies consciously and can efficiently leverage available funding opportunities will always find the right support scheme for their goals.
At IBSH, our experts assist businesses in identifying the most suitable development paths—whether related to technological innovation, market expansion, renewable-energy investment incentives, or R&D-driven development projects.
